Hello.. since I missed your stream, I am glad you posted the shorter clip of your reaction. Currently catching up with your analysis of the teaser, so appreciate all the content. Also just wanted to leave my small speculation about the ink powers of Yi Xuan. It bugged me as a Genshin player since we see her using Sigils along with the ink & I remembered Liyue arc had similar Sigils that were used to bind Old gods which were actually released on the harbour. Since genshin gives these monsters/gods authority over certain elements, the released monster gods Osial & Beisht take shape with the water of the sea. There might not be direct connection but I can see ZZZ using this kind of small reference. So...Could the Ink stuff we see in the gourd actually be a dormant Ethereal that can survive in that form outside of the Hollows ? We see Yi Xuan using Sigils but when she uses her mystic arts, we see a lot of Sigils behind her as if everytime she uses them, it adds on to some sort of toll. Could she either be using the Sigils to either bind it to a certain form like the bird or maybe even use the Sigils to release it from binding to give it's natural form during fights ? I am suggesting that if Yi xuan is on similar level as void hunter, she could be having a similar contract with some ancient ethereal that allows itself to be used & in return take form during fights with the help of her mystic arts. I mean in the end it could just be special type of ether as others have speculated (we know that Ether have different states now thanks to Twiggy, so they can have different properties), but the these birds with eyes are bugging me.
Would just like to mention, Seed is probably not an intelligent construct exactly In one of Trigger's trust events, you acknowledge Seed is an intelligent construct, and she questions if Soldier told you that. She then says something along the lines of "If Soldier says stuff like that, just go with it" and then implies what Seed really is is complicated. She also then describes Magus's *existence* as a philosophical dilemma. To me it seems like Seed may just be a more modern robot (since intelligent constructs are based off the old civilization) or some new/other kind of automaton. This also makes me think the black haired guy isn't Magus, as nothing about his design screams "philosophical dilemma" like Trigger mentioned
seed supposedly is conflicted about his identity as a robot (according to the old obol leaks that so far have been true) maybe that's just what they're referring to

Not really leaks since its just Old concept files pre release but learn in those that Magus/Ghostfire is the sentient Tail of Orpheus and captain of Obol squad, next to Seed. Magus is in fact supposed to be dead, but they somehow put his counsciouness into that Tail (again, according ot those old concepts, but it was described as a gun instead)
Keep these videos coming! If you could do deep lore videos that would be awesome, i almost never read anything of the side missions or hollow lore items, and I feel I sometimes miss out on cool details. You seem to be great at catching these and speculating on story/lore would be cool to hear :D
I can't exactly pinpoint why but I can't shake off the feeling the symbol on the ground of Yi Xuan's "temple grounds"/faction/whatever (the shot with Ju Fufu, the MCs and the Panda) is like an inversion of the Exaltists symbol shown on the trailer. They're both shown as if viewed from a top-down perspective of sorts during the trailer in a way that makes me look at them in that way... As if a direct contrast made to symbolize they're forces in direct opposition, not only in factions/objectives but also metaphysicaly in the lore

Hey, I'm with you, I am a sucker for redheads, especially horned ones. Many of my characters are redheaded demon girls, so this character is a MUST PULL for me. The pink bunny reminds me of the vtuber Pippa.
Just a thought. May it be the new Overseer initiating a new member to Exaltists? Rather than execution, he may pat on his shoulders with the sword. Then blesses him or "refines" him in some way and that's why Sarah looks at him wide open, because she's witnessing a "miracle". 10:20
I'm really excited for 2.0, especially the Exaltists and Sarah. To me, she's the kind of person that has the 'interesting, intricate past' aura. Ever since I saw her in-game, I was just waiting for the time we would potentially capture her and get some answers(as stupid as that may sound).

Alice and Calamity are definetely in the same faction as the bunny/mouse/pika girl, have you seen their attires?
Bro, so many people are over theorizing on who that dude is behind wise and belle. Here’s a simple answer, he’s an escort, yi xuan is wise and belle mentor so she’s going to not only be teaching them things but also guiding them. She’s Clearly a lady with a high status so she most likely can’t be around the proxies 24/7 so she has escorts to help with that, she runs a temple afterall. Think of her more like feixiao from HSR.
I agree that the black thiren is probably not mors, itd be weird for mors to suddenly use a sword and not a gun. Specially because there is already attack animations of Mors using his gun in his fights (doppel and normal during story quest). But imagine if he’s related to mors, like a brother or a cousin! Could be a nice way to infer the return of the vanquisher characters like Bellum and Mors.
I think the redhead Obol girl might be having the best agent story in the game so far. So, I can see your M6 another character already. If you look around her neck & back of her head, it seems most of her upper body is being shared by the Tail thingy. Kinda reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul for some reason as in a rookie getting augmentation from some elite soldier to save whatever was left of their lives & now they gotta share that body. The tail could be the mentor & the girl could be a rookie trying to control her new found power. My head Cannon is they were in some hollow accident and the tail thingy was actually another being maybe like Seed that was attached to her that then took over her body to save her life & itself. It's speculation but the story goes anywhere around this line, it's gonna be amazing from what I can tell from her design.

I joined the apocalypse vibes. New Eridu was stated multiple times to be the last surviving city so how is there now a second city? Now we are cultivators instead of Proxies? Hoyo killed the lore in one update.
New eridu is not that small. Its not like all places is covered with hollow, u dont see how people outside the city life freely roaming all around places? Zzz is not total applocalypse, it is post the event where people live with fighting hollow all together to rebuild thier society.

The argument for the thiren dude not being Mors is so weak imo. Aura? His weapon? Seriously? I think the reason why he could be Mors is because he sports a spiked leather jacket, the same kind of apparel bikers use to wear in the Outer Ring. So how likely is it that Hoyo introduces a second character that is basically the same(?) thiren race and has the same clothing style as Mors? The gap in "aura" (wtf does it even mean) and weaponry could easily be explained by the character leveling up, upgrading, changing his ways, etc. Plus, the fate of Lucius, Mors and their affiliation to TOPS is something that was never resolved, so why not in Season 2? Now I'm not defending that this guy is Mors for sure. All I'm saying is he could be Mors based off the little we see of him, and it would make for an interesting callback to 1.2, possibly tying up some loose ends.

It might be a mysterious thing that roams the Hollows and sometimes does "miracles" on a whim(like refining Bringer), which then sprouted a cult following. And now the Exaltists are attempting to recreate the same "miracles" that Creator are capable of. Maybe they want to seek its attention or just touch its power, idk, but if they had the Creator on their side, would Exaltists need bio weapons and Sacrifices? Considering it's a very powerful being that did the miracles on its own, I doubt it.

Idk if its just me, but Im kinda sad they're not sticking to the City punk vibes the game always had but go into something like genshin-ish vibes, main reason I liked Zzz over other gatcha games was because of the aesthetic of city punk and Edm music, I just hope 2.0 doesn't have weird flute music like Genshin
Oh, it absolutely will have that music. The question is: how much of it will be there and how battle themes will sound like. To me, the now iconic EDM/Metal ZZZ music is what makes ZZZ what it is. The urban setting is one other such thing. I too hope they'll keep it. Otherwise, ZZZ will lose almost all of its identity.
Unpopular opinion, but I wasn’t very excited seeing this trailer. I expected to see in-game models of everyone doing wacky things, as sort of a preview. We didn’t even get to see the idols. The only character I’m remotely interested in is Orpheus.
Because it's a preview pv. More than likely we'll get the, "The Person You Are Calling Is in a Hollow" style teaser trailer for 2.0 to reveal the factions.
